PAINTING IN PARADISE 2018 ITINERARY
EXPLORE YOUR CREATIVITY IN THE JEWEL OF THE PACIFIC
12 NIGHTS TAHITI AND BORA BORA ITINERARY 2018
MONDAY 2ND JULY
As you cross the international date line you will arrive late in the evening the day before you left.
You will be greeted upon arrival with a tradition flower lei and transported to Le Meridien resort for check in. After a good night sleep you will awake to your spectacular view of paradise.
DAY ONE - Tuesday 3rd July - Your first day in paradise
Today we head straight to the island of Bora Bora with it's numerous 'motu's' (small islets). This will be a 45 minute plane ride, seats are not allocated so it's first in best seated and on the way over the best views will be on the left side of the plane.
Once landed you will be collected by boat to head to the charming and traditionally rustic location of 'Blue Heaven Island' to check in for 4 'Island nights'.
Blue Heaven Island is a small private pension so we have the 'Motu' to ourselves...this is a great chance to get to know your fellow 'Painters in Paradise', completely unwind and get into the true spirit of 'Island Time'.
Here you will be painting daily on your private island home for the next 4 days in between snorkelling, dozing in the shade of a coconut tree or taking a kayak to explore the lagoon. All meals are provided on Blue Heaven Island as well as fresh water, tea, coffee and morning juice. Alcoholic or other mixers are BYO or Elie, your host, usually makes daily trips into the main town, Vaitape, by boat and is happy to purchase your desired beverages for you.
Day 2 – Wednesday 4th July - Settling into ‘Painting in Paradise’
Our wonderful host, Elie, has purpose built a 'Fare Potee' (open air bungalow) to be used as our studio which adjoins the main 'Fare' of the property. It is open on all sides with sky lights to provide natural light for painting and is positioned just up from the beach.
Here we will spend usually 2-3 hours painting in the mornings after breakfast and a swim. The rest of your days here are for relaxing and unwinding.
